Harry came won the 2026 ballon d’Or over Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal
A phenomenal season
Harry Kane won the 2026 Ballon d’Or after an extraordinary 2025/26 season with FC Bayern Munich and the England national team. Kane in 65 appearances(51 for Bayern Munich) and 14 for England) had 73 total goals: 61 with Bayern and 12 for England, while having 81 goal contributions in total. Kane's 73 goals are the most scored this season, behind Lionel Messi in 2011, when he scored 82. Statistically, Kane averaged 1.12 goals across all competitions. Being dominant in Europe, Kane's 61 club goals were 19 more goals than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues. He also scored 44 non-penalty goals for Bayern Munich alone, while performing his non-penalty expected goals by +20.3. Kane also had five hat tricks for Bayern during the season. His major accomplishments include winning the Bundesliga, the DFB Pokal, and the Bundesliga golden boot with 36 goals, and leading England to a third-place finish at the World Cup in 2026, scoring six goals to become England’s all-time World Cup goal scorer with 14 goals in total. Kane won the award ahead of Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappé and FC Barcelona's Lamine Yamal.
